This is the earliest mail I have from AB regarding hijacking.
This is false, and is obviously false because the OSF (now known as The Open Group exists. Address space is hijacked from defunct organizations.

The two /19's he was speaking of were actually /21's, and were actually assigned to us, though one was returned to UUnet in August, 2003. Until then, the block we returned was assigned to us, and in fact, it was not due to be returned until Feb, 2004. It was never hijacked. The other /21 was originally assigned to UUnet in 1992, transfered to OEC in 1993, and then transferred to us, as presently indicated in ARIN records.
The /16 isn't stolen either. It is registered to the OSF. The OSF created Motif, OSF/1, DCE and other projects and standards, and pioneered the open systems movement in the late 1980's. It joined with the X Consortium (X Window System used on linux and unix and other operating systems), and X/Open, which created XPG4, SQL standards, and other standards, creating The Open Group. The Open Group created standards certification programs and licenses the Unix™. trademark among its many activities. The Open Group has assigned management of the 130.105/16 block to Dean Anderson, and this fact is indicated by ARIN records.
